Emmie Wright is a performer who is currently based in Danville, Indiana, very close to where she grew up. In addition to being on stage, she has spent her career in the arts working in various aspects. On the theatre side of things, she loves working with kids and she has taught in many different areas of children’s theatre. In the film world, Emmie is a co-owner of the production company Ophelia Grey Films. She works mostly in editing, writing, and directing within the company.

Emmie is a board member for the nonprofit organization The Melanie and Rosalie Albright Foundation, which was established to help those wishing to participate in any aspect of theatre find acceptance and a place of belonging by providing scholarships and performance opportunities to youth ages six to twenty-one. In her free time, Emmie loves baking and making treats for her loved ones. If she’s not baking, she can usually be found snuggling her cat, lifting weights, or curled up reading a book!
